Frank's Radio Classics

Frank's Yesteryear Radio Classics is taking a brief summer break. It'll return to the air on Monday, July 13.

CJNU Nostalgia Radio is on the air for the month of July at 107.9-FM and MTS-TV channel 725 in Winnipeg - and of course in streaming Internet audio. You can start the streaming audio just by clicking on your preferred audio format in the box on the right.

We're beginning our July programming with two days of non-stop music. Our live announcers are back in the studio beginning this Sunday, July 5. Sunday's program highlights will include 'Cruisin' from noon to four - 'That 50s Show' from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. - the 'Memories' Show from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with the best in swing music and singers from the 30s, 40s and 50s - and of course Denny Farrell and his 'Big Band Showcase' from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m.

CJNU's July feature sponsor is Rainbow Stage, which will be presenting 'Beauty and the Beast' during August. Information on performance dates, ticket prices and more, can be found on the Rainbow Stage Web site. As was the case during June. our July studio will be located in the lobby of the Manitoba Theatre for Young People in The Forks in downtown Winnipeg (below).
